GREAT FALLS — Montana Tech junior Taryn Campbell finished eighth at the Argos Invitational Tuesday.

Campbell followed a first-round 81 with an 82 at the Larchmont Country Club for a 163 to lead the Montana Tech women, who placed fifth in the six-team field.

Gina Kowolchuk of the University of Great Falls followed Monday’s 73 with a 71 for a 144 total and medalist honors. Eryn Ellis of Rocky Mountain College was second, seven shots back. Complete results

Rocky won the team title, improving one shot for a 314 and a 624. Lewis-Clark State took second at 648. Great Falls took third at 668, and Carroll placed fourth at 674. The Orediggers shot 721 after improving five shots for a 358 on Tuesday.

Butte High grad Hailey Ogolin shot an 88 and tied for 22^nd at 178. Also for the Orediggers, Megan Steach finished at 185, Lynzee Dexter carded a 195, and Kelly Harbach finished at 216.
