The 70th Montana East-West Shrine Game will once again be loaded with future Montana Tech Orediggers.
A total of 13 Oredigger signees are on the roster for the game, which will kick off at 7 p.m. Saturday on Montana Tech’s Bob Green Field.
The West team is slanted heavily toward Montana Tech with nine players, including Butte Central graduate Jake Michelotti. The East team includes four future Orediggers.
Other future Tech players on the West roster are Will Hanthausen of Helena Capital, Gus Herzog of Helena High, C.J. Dugan of Kalispell Flathead, Quade McQueary of Townsend, Chase Barta of Manhattan, Austin Pacheco of Bigfork, Michael Delaney of Charlo and Nick Winfield of Boulder.
Tech players on the East roster are Joel Beck of Fairfield, Conner Bokman from Stanford/Geyser/Denton, Justin May of Chester/Joplin/Inverness, and Tanner Mayer of Fairfield.
Delaney and May will be making their second all-star appearance on their future college home field. Both players participated in the Bob Cleverley Class C All-Star Game last month.
The West side began working out in Butte on Saturday. The team has a scrimmage scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday on the Bob Green Field.
The East side is practicing in Billings.
