Poker, golf tourneys raise money for Dawg hoops

DILLON — Saturday, Sept. 29 marks the inaugural Lion’s Den Casey Keltz Memorial Golf Tournament at the Beaverhead Golf Course in Dillon, Mont. The four-man scramble, shotgun start entry fee is $40 for Beaverhead Golf Course members and $65 for non-members. Play begins at 10 a.m. Proceeds will help fund the Casey Keltz scholarship for men’s basketball.

On Sunday, Sept. 30, the Bulldog men’s basketball team will host a Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Fundraiser at the Lion’s Den. Participants can preregister by Sept. 27 for a $100 buy-in and be entered in a drawing to win the entry fee back. The buy-in at the door will be $125. Players must be seated by 11:30 a.m. and play will begin at noon. Complimentary snacks will be provided.
