GREAT FALLS — Mike Barragan of Lakeside beat Butte’s Brett Badovinac in the open-division championship match of the ninth annual Timboe Classic handball tournament.

The tournament, which featured 30 players from around the state, was played at the Peak Health and Wellness Center.

The title was Barragan’s second in the tournament’s history.

Mike Hitchcock of Butte won the 50-plus golden masters division. He beat Eric Howe of Deer Lodge in the championship match. Former Butte resident Phil Keating of Boulder won the golden masters consolation crown.
