GREAT FALLS — The Columbia Falls Wildcats are headed home with some hardware
The Wildcats saw a double-digit lead disappear before knocking off Laurel 46-44 in overtime of the consolation game of the Class A State girls’ basketball tournament at the Four Seasons Arena.
The win avenged a 58-29 loss to the Locomotives in the tournament opener.
Trista Cowan scored 16 points to lead the Wildkats, who close the season with a 25-2 record. Ryley Ker added 11 points and 14 rebounds in the win.
Aspen Cotter’s 16 points led Laurel (18-8). Maeson Cotter scored 10 points.
