GILLETTE, Wyo. — The Gillette Wild completed a weekend sweep of the Butte Cobras with a 5-2 victory Saturday night. (Stats)

Gage Thompson scored two goals to lead the home team to a win. Coleman Varty, Ethan Becker and George Stilson each added a goal, and Cody Grogan turned away 26 shots.

Robin Bagley and Charles Blanding scored goals for the Cobras, who were outshot 83-28. Karl Zodda racked up 78 saves in the loss.

Austin Newson scored a pair of goals as the Wild blanked the Cobras 5-0 on Friday. (Stats)

The Cobras are back on the road next Saturday to take on Missoula. Butte’s next home game is Dec. 13 against Helena.
