BC junior Rileigh McGree ran to second place in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 46.75 seconds. That came one day after she won the long jump and placed third in the 100 hurdles.

Freshman Ella Moodry took fifth in the 100 in 13.25 seconds. Like with McGree, Moodry had already qualified for State in the event she placed in on Saturday.

The top 10 individuals in each event advance to the Class A State meet, which starts Friday in Laurel.

Central senior Amira Bolton qualified by placing 10th in the high jump. She cleared 4 feet, 6 inches.

On the boys’ side, Hamilton scored 104 points for the win. Frenchtown took second at 83, and Dillon placed fourth at 60. Butte Central scored six team points.

They came from Kyle Holter, who cleared 5-10 to place third in the high jump.

The Maroon boys also qualified 10th in the 1,600-meter relay. Egan Lester, Bryan “Hugo” Holland, Jack Keelie and Dougie Peoples each ran a leg.
