In the Mining City Friday night, Anaconda stunned Butte Central with a miraculous 28-27 victory at Bulldog Memorial Stadium. The Maroons led 27-0 after three quarters and 27-6 with less than 4 minutes left in the game.

On Saturday, Montana Tech’s defense scored a pair of touchdowns as the No. 17 Orediggers won their third straight game, beating No. 22 Rocky Mountain College 24-6 in Billings.
