DILLON — Montana Western bounced back with a big win Saturday.
Two nights after suffering a home loss to Carroll College, the No. 3-ranked Bulldogs knocked off No. 21 Rocky Mountain College 59-55 at the Straugh Gymnasium. (Stats)
Brianna King came off the bench to score 25 points to lead the way for Western, which improved to 21-2 overall and 12-2 in the Frontier Conference. Britt Cooper added 13 points in the win.
Markaela Francis scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Bears (16-10, 7-7). Butte native Kloie Thatcher scored 11 points and dished out three assists, while Alecia Chamberlin scored 10 points and grabbed eight boards.
