Montana Western’s women’s basketball team outscored Carroll College 46-21 in the second half Saturday to turn a 35-20 halftime deficit into a 66-56 Frontier Conference victory at the Stray Gym. Stats
Jenna Banks led the way for the Bulldog, who improved to 2-3 in conference and 8-7 overall.
Sammi Bignell added 17 points, while Kaci Matthies added 12 points and eight rebounds in the come-from-behind win.
Western also got six points from Kelsey Callaghan and Roxy Thurman and five from Melody McCloud.
Kalee Junkermier scored 19 points to lead the Saints, who fell to 1-4 and 8-8. Bailey Snelling scored 12.
