Western, Tech land at 17, 18 in latest poll

Montana Western and Montana Tech are both ranked in the top 20 in the NAIA Top 25 coaches’ poll.

The Bulldogs fell one spot to No. 17 after Saturday’s 10-9 homecoming loss to Carroll College. The Orediggers jumped up three spots to No. 18 following Saturday’s 29-21 homecoming win over the College of Idaho.

Carroll moved up one spot to No. 5, while Southern Oregon went from a tie for No. 4 to No. 2. Rocky Mountain College received votes.

All of the Frontier Conference teams has this week off.

Lindsay Wilson is the new No. 1 team, while Morningside fell three spots to No. 4.
