Western men land 6-foot-5 JC transfer Jordan Willis

DILLON — Montana Western men’s basketball coach Steve Keller announced today the signing of Jordan Willis, a 6-foot-5 post from Southwest Oregon Community College, to an NAIA Letter of Intent.

“Jordan was a teammate of Dexter Williams Jr. at SWOCC and comes highly recommended by his coach Trevor Hoppe,” Keller said.

Willis was selected to the all-region second team when he averaged 18 points and eight rebounds per game this season.

“This past season our team did not consistently rebound well,” Keller said. “We look for Jordan to pick up a lot of the rebounding load next year.”

A native of Henderson, Nevada, Willis is the son of Demetrius Willis and Karen Willis. He intends to major in biology at Montana Western.

“Jordan is a great student with a 3.34 GPA, we are excited that he has decided to join the Bulldog basketball program,” Keller said.
