Western men fall at Rocky

BILLINGS — Tyree Anderson’s 27 points led the way Thursday as Rocky Mountain College topped Montana Western 83-73 in a Frontier Conference men’s basketball game.

Joel Barndt scored 19 points, and Jeremy Nicholas added 17 for the Bears, who improved to 5-3 in league and 14-6 overall.

Maazin Butler paced the No. 19 Bulldogs with 20 points. Jake Owsley tossed in 17 as the Bulldogs fell to 5-3 and 12-7.

The Bulldogs will play at Dickinson State on Saturday. That game will be Western’s fifth straight on the road.
