Western bounces back to top Skylights in Havre

HAVRE — Montana Western’s women’s basketball team bounced back from Friday’s loss at the University of Providence in convincing fashion.

Gracey Meyer scored 17 points to lead three Bulldogs in double figures Saturday night, and the Bulldogs beat MSU-Northern 70-58 at the Armory Gymnasium. (Stats)

No. 19 Western blew open a 32-29 halftime lead with a 29-14 run in the third quarter.

Brynley Fitzgerald scored 14 points for the Bulldogs, and Shainey Mack tossed in 11. Also for Western, Shannon Worster scored nine points, and Paige Holmes contributed with eight points and 12 rebounds.

Allix Goldhahn scored 20 points to lead the banged-up Skylights.
