HAMILTON — Whitefish and Frenchtown kept their seasons alive by winning loser-out games today at the Western A Divisional boys’ basketball tournament.

Frenchtown beat Libby 63-52 (stats) before Whitefish turned back Polson 67-63 in overtime (stats).

The Bulldogs and Broncs advance to Saturdays 11 a.m. loser-out games. They will take on the loser’s from Friday night’s semifinal games.

The winners of the morning games secure a trip the state. The top four teams move on from the tournament.
