The Christmas break is over for the Orediggers, who take on the Thunder for the first of back-to-back games at the HPER Complex.
Tech takes a 6-5 overall record into the contest. The last Oredigger game that counted saw Tech beat Salish Kootenai College 121-71 Dec. 15 in Pablo. Last week, the Orediggers fell 84-56 in an exhibition game at Utah Valley University.
Senior John Chapman is averaging 14.7 points per game to lead three Orediggers in double figures. Chris O’Neill is averaging 11.1 points, while Jake Miles is scoring at a 10.1 clip. Freshmen Nick Fitts and Derrius Colins are both averaging 9.0 points per game.
The Thunder have won five straight and bring an 8-4 record into town. Senior forward Ryan McLaren averages a team-leading 15.6 points per game.
The teams play at 4 p.m. Thursday at the HPER.
