The Orediggers look to bounce back from Saturday’s home loss to Westminster College when they head to Helena to take on the Saints. Mandy Machinal is coming off a 20-point performance. She averages a team-leading 16.1 points per game. Kelsey DeWit and Laini Kalumbi also average in double figures for the Orediggers, who are 9-6 overall and 2-1 in the Frontier Conference. The Saints, who received votes in the latest Top 25 poll, are 9-5 and 3-0. Torrie Cahill averages 14.3 and 5.6 rebounds per game for the Saints. Megan Patterson averages 13.1 points per game. Former Butte High Bulldog Joey O’Neill, who transferred to Carroll from Weber State, averages 5.9 points and 5.5 boards for the Saints.

Men’s College Basketball

The Orediggers are hoping to build on Saturday’s thrilling victory over Westminster College in the nightcap of the Frontier Conference doubleheader. Tech is 10-7 and 1-2 after the victory. Carroll College has struggled to a 1-13 and 0-3 start. Adam Greger scored 17 points to lead four Orediggers in double figures Saturday. He averages 19.2 points per game. Bryan Bock averages 12 points per game, and Daniel Simon is the team’s top rebounder at 6.7 boards per game. Nick Jones leads Carroll with 16.6 points per game.
