BOZEMAN — Olivia Weber won medalist honors Tuesday as the Montana Grizzlies capped a come-from-behind victory at the Bobcat Invitational at the Riverside Country Club.
Weber got one shot better each day, carding a final-round 72 for a 6-over-par 219. She beat Southern Utah’s Sadie Palmer by one shot.
MSU’s Paige Crawford, the leader after each first two rounds, shot a 77 Tuesday and placed third at 222.
The Grizzlies shot a 304 Tuesday for a 913 total to tie Utah Valley The Grizzlies won in a sudden-death playoff. Southern Utah placed third at 916, while MSU stumbled to a 319 Tuesday for a 924 and fourth place. The Bobcats shot 303 and 302 to lead after the first and second rounds.
North Dakota place fifth in the five-team event at 980.
