Warriors run to Frontier men’s championship

LEWISTON, Idaho — Lewis-Clark State College men’s basketball team captured the Frontier Conference tournament title Tuesday night, beating Montana Western 82-55. Stats

Five Lewis-Clark State players scored in double figures as the No. 20 Warriors (15-7) won their fifth straight game. Brady Bagby scored 14 points, while John Humphrie, Vavin Kauffman and Jamaal Thomas each scored 14. Jacob Wiley scored 10.

Connor Woodill tossed in 13 points to lead the No. 15 Bulldogs (22-9). Dexter Williams Jr. and Ryan McCardy each scored 10.

Lewis-Clark State receives the Frontier Conference automatic bid to the NAIA National tournament. The Bulldogs are basically assured of a spot in the tournament as well.
