LEWISTON, Idaho — Six Warriors scored in double figures Saturday night, and the No. 5 Lewis-Clark State College men’s basketball team rolled its winning streak to 13 with an 81-67 win over Montana Tech. (Stats)
The winning streak dates back to LC’s 89-81 Dec. 7 win at Montana Tech.
Damek Mitchell scored 19 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out seven assists to lead Lewis-Clark State, which outscored Tech 48-35 in the second half. The Warriors led 33-32 at the break
Josiah Westbrook scored 15 points in the win, while Travis Yenor tossed in 13, Trystan Bradley netted 12, and Khalil Stevenson and Bailey Hodges each scored 11.
Lewis-Clark State improved to 23-1 and 11-1 in conference.
Taylor England scored 18 points to lead the Orediggers (14-9, 6-6). Sindou Diallo and Drew Huse each scored nine points for Tech, and Dylan Pannabecker scored eight.
The Orediggers also got six points apiece from Cody Baumstarck and Connor Kieckbusch and two from Derrius Collins. Baumstarck added seven rebounds, and Diallo dropped four dimes.
Tech is back at home next Thursday and Saturday to take on MSU-Northern and the University of Providence.
