LEWISTON, Idaho — Lewis-Clark State College held Montana Tech to 16 points in the second half Thursday night, and the Warriors topped Montana Tech 53-43 in a Frontier Conference women’s basketball game. (Stats)
Peyton Souvenir scored 12 points off the bench to lead the Warriors, who led 31-27 at halftime. Jossilyn Blackman scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Hailey Turner added nine points and 10 boards for Lewis-Clark State, which improved to 17-5 overall and 7-4 in conference.
Mollie Peoples came off the bench to score to lead the Orediggers (12-11, 2-10). Mesa Williams tossed in nine points, and Kaylee Zard contributed with eight points and six rebounds.
The Orediggers also got six points form Celestina Faletoi and two from Lana Berg and Dani Urick.
Tech gets a full week off before playing MSU-Northern next Friday in Havre.
