Bozeman at Butte High, 4 p.m.
The Bulldogs (3-2, 5-7) will host Bozeman (0-5, 1-7) in an Eastern AA game on Field 1 at Stodden Park. The game is a makeup of last week’s contest that was postponed because of snow. The Bulldogs dropped both ends of a nonconference doubleheader at home against Kalispell Glacier on Saturday. In Butte High’s last conference action, though, the Bulldogs impressed with a road sweep of Great Falls High. Freshman pitcher Kaidy McClafferty pitched both ends of that sweep. Kennedi Ferriter and Tristan Walks homered to lead the Bulldog offense last time out.
Butte Central at Livingston, 5 p.m.
The Maroons hit the road trying to stop a two-game losing streak when they hit the road to take on the Rangers in a non-conference game. The Maroons are 3-4 overall after Southwestern A losses to Dillon and Anaconda last week. Shawnee Hjelt homered to lead the Maroons in Friday’s 8-7 loss to the Copperheads. Mollie Peoples, Kassidy Criscuolo and Megan Michelotti each hit a double. McKenzie Gallagher will likely get the start in the pitcher’s circle.
Bozeman, Sentinel, Hellgate at Butte High
Stodden Park and West Elementary will be the site as the Bulldogs get in three matches. Butte High will take on conference foe Bozeman at 8:30 a.m. The Hawks swept Butte High Saturday in Helena. At 11 a.m., the Bulldogs take on Missoula Sentinel. They’ll wrap up the day against Missoula Hellgate at 2 p.m. The Bulldog girls went 2-1 Saturday, knocking off Helena High and Helena Capital. The Butte High boys went 1-2.
Butte Central vs. Havre and Lewistown in Great Falls, 8:30 a.m.
The Maroons will meet the Blue Ponies and Eagles in the middle for a couple of non-conference matches.
