The Bulldogs hit the road for a key Western AA battle.

Butte High is 6-6 in conference and 8-9 overall. Sentinel is 9-2 and 13-6. The Spartans won 13-8 when the teams met April 19 in Butte. Emma Ries hit a home run and a double, and Kodi Frasier poked two doubles to lead Sentinel in the win.

Bryn Godbout and Kodi Hoagland doubled that day to lead the Bulldogs. Hoagland had three hits on the game, while Jordyn Bolton, Ryan Ferriter and Brityn Stewart each had two.

The game begins the final week of the regular season for Butte High. The Bulldogs will play host to Kalispell Flathead and Glacier Friday and Saturday.

Butte Central at East Helena, 7:30 p.m.
The Maroons and Vigilantes will be primetime players in the Southwestern A game.

Game time was changed so the teams can play the game under the lights. BC hits the road at 4-6 in conference and 6-10 overall after a 3-1 performance at the LaVerne Combo Invitational.

Belle Surginer pitched the distance for the win in that game. She also joined Rilie Stephenson and Kelci Sargent with a double. Brooke Badovinac tripled and Hattie Mehring doubled to lead the Maroons, who were playing without pitcher Sofee Thatcher.
