Tuesday’s Hot Ticket: Soccer, volleyball

Helena Capital at Butte High

The Jeremy Bullock Complex will set the scene when the Bulldogs and Bruins will meet for the second time this season. The boys open play at 3 p.m. The girls play at 5.

Butte Highs girls played to a 1-all tie with Capital when the teams met Sept. 19 in Helena. The Bruins won the boys’ game 9-0.

The Bulldogs will celebrate Senior Day honoring Logan Roepe, Christian Sherman, Taylor Nash, Cole Anazeh, Haley Herron, Lexia Dauenhauer, Lizzy Laliker and Daley Schinell and their parents.

Prep volleyball
Missoula Hellgate at Butte High, 7 p.m.

The Bulldogs will go for the season sweep of Hellgate when they welcome the Knights to the Richardson Gym for the Western AA match.

Butte High swept past Hellgate when the teams first met Sept. 24 in Missoula. The Bulldogs enter the match at 7-8 overall and 2-7 in conference play after a strong showing in a three-set loss at No. 1 Helena Capital Saturday.

Hellgate comes to town at 1-13 and 0-9.

Butte Central at Corvallis, 7 p.m.
The Maroons hit the road looking to salvage a season split with the Blue Devils in the Southwestern A match.

Corvallis beat Butte Central in three sets when the teams played Sept. 26 in Butte.

Central hits the road with a 6-2 overall record after Thursday’s four-set non-conference loss at Anaconda. The Maroons are 4-1 in conference play.
