The Maroons look to roll their record to 5-0 as they take on the Blue Devils in a Southwestern A game at the Maroon Activities Center.
BC got 32 points from Dougie Peoples Saturday as the Maroons downed rival Dillon 56-42 at the MAC. Central is 2-0 in league play. Peoples is averaging 20.2 points per game. Fellow junior Eric Loss adds 10.0 points and 8.0 rebounds. Junior Kyle Holter is averaging 9.7 points, and senior Bryson Sestrich averages 8.0.
Corvallis comes to town at 0-4 overall and 0-1 in conference. Dillon beat the Blue Devils 73-62 Dec. 14 in Corvallis. Donovan Potter averages 19.0 points per game to lead Corvallis. Aaron Powell follows with 12.2 points and 6.5 rebounds.
Prep girls’ basketball

The Maroons hit the road looking to bounce back from Saturday’s home loss to Dillon.
Junior Brooke Badovinac is averaging 25.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game for the Maroons, who are 2-2 overall and 1-1 in Southwestern A play. Sophomore Ella Moodry is averaging 11.5 points and 5.5 rebounds, while senior Sofee Thatcher adds 9.8 points, 7.2 rebounds 3.8 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game.
Corvallis is 0-4 overall and 0-1 in conference. The Blue Devils’ lone conference game was a 51-25 Dec. 14 loss at Dillon. Madeline Gilder’s 10.2 points and 8.8 rebounds leads the Devils.
Prep wrestling
Butte High at Big Sky, 6 p.m.
The Bulldogs will hit the road to close out the 2021 portion of their schedule.
Butte High is off to a strong start with second-place finishes at the prestigious Mining City Duals/Jim Street Classic and Pat Weede Memorial in Gillette, Wyoming.
Bulldog coach Cory Johnston said he will likely give a large chunk of his varsity grapplers the night off. Butte High beat Big Sky 61-12 on Saturday morning of the Mining City Duals.
