Great Falls High at Butte High (DH), 3:30 p.m.

Two days after picking up a road win at Bozeman, the Bulldogs (2-6, 2-2) will face the Bison in a key Eastern AA doubleheader at Stodden Park. Both games will count in conference standings since this is the only time the Bulldogs and Bison will meet in the regular season. Sophomore pitcher Kaidy McClafferty is coming off a strong performance in Bozeman. MacKensie Daily drove in two runs in that win. Kennedi Ferriter and Brittney Tierney each smacked a pair of hits.

Dillon at Butte Central, 3 p.m.
The Maroons are in action for the first time since last Thursday’s come-from-behind victory in Anaconda when they take on the Beavers at Stodden Park. Teresa Piazzola pitched six one-hit innings in relief to highlight BC’s 10-9 win. Shawnee Hjelt has been blistering hot to lead BC’s offense as the Maroons look to go to 3-0 in Southwestern A play.

The matches will be BC’s only action of the week. Saturday’s scheduled home matches against the Helena schools was moved to next Thursday in Bozeman because of wet weather in the forecast.

Butte Central at Bozeman JV, 3 p.m.
The Maroons will see their first action in two weeks when they hit the road to take on the Hawks. BC was rained out twice last week. The washed-out matches against Corvallis will be played Friday in Butte.
