Lewis-Clark State at Montana Tech, 5:30 p.m.
The Orediggers (14-13, 4-11) and the No. 21 Warriors (17-7, 9-5) will play a rubber match in the opener of the Frontier Conference twin-bill at the HPER Complex.
Tech beat Lewis-Clark State 83-59 Dec. 7 in Butte. The Warriors returned the favor with a 76-62 win Feb. 8 in Lewiston, Idaho.
The Orediggers are coming off Tuesday’s 71-52 loss to Carroll College. True freshman Tavia Rooney had a big game for the Orediggers, scoring 18 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. She is seven rebounds shy of Connie Froke’s 1982 school record of 292 rebounds.
Junior Mesa Williams needs just one point to become the 18th Oredigger to join the 1,000-point club.
Columbia Falls native Kiara Burlage averages 15.1 points per game to lead the Warriors. She scored 26 points in the last game against Tech.
Tech will honor senior Kaylee Zard before the Senior Night game.

The Orediggers (15-11, 7-8) close out their four-game home-stand with a big-time test against No 3 Lewis-Clark State College (25-1, 13-1) in the night cap.
The Warriors already have the Frontier Conference regular-season title locked up. Damek Mitchell scored 19 points to lead five Warriors in double figures in the last meeting, an 81-67 Feb. 8 win in Lewiston, Idaho. L-C State also beat Tech 89-81 Dec. 7 in Butte.
Tech is coming off Tuesday’s 75-66 win over Carroll College. Sindou Diallo continued his remarkable season with 24 points and five assists in the win. Drew Huse scored 17, while Cody Baumstarck came off the bench for 14 points and nine rebounds.
The Orediggers will honor seniors Troy Owens Jr. and Dylan Pannabecker before the Senior Night game.
