Thursday’s Hot Ticket: Diggers finish game

Men’s college basketball
Montana Tech at The University of Providence, 7 p.m.

What has to be the longest halftime in the history of Montana Tech basketball will end Thursday when the Orediggers and Argonauts resume the game they started on Jan. 6 in Great Falls.

Providence leads 33-31 heading into the final 20 minutes of the game. The Frontier Conference game was suspended because the bracket holding the basket to the wall at the McLaughlin Center broke.

Tech (0-5, 8-9) and Providence (1-4, 7-8) will play their regularly-scheduled game Friday in Great Falls. The Orediggers head to Havre to take on MSU-Northern on Saturday.
