The Bulldogs hit the road looking to building on Saturday’s win at Helena High.

Both teams enter the Western AA tilt at 1-5 overall and 1-1 in conference.

Butte High freshman Ashlinn Mullaney has emerged as Butte High’s No. 1 pitcher. She grabbed her first prep win Saturday. She is also hitting .368 through six games.

Senior leadoff hitter Kodie Hoagland leads the Bulldog offense with a .474 average. Senior Joscelyn Cleveland is hitting .375, and junior Bryn Godbout is batting .353, junior Rian Ferriter is hitting .333, and sophomore Kamber Leary has a team-best six RBIs.

The Orediggers will get a look at some tough competition when they head to Spokane for the meet. Senior Becca Richtman will head to Californian for the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays, where she will compete with some of the best college runners in the country.
