The Bulldogs host the Beavers for a Senior Night Dual at the Richardson Gym.
The match will be the home finale for seniors Billy Cunneen, Wil Queer, Dale Kent, Carl Anderson, Kole McGrath, Austin Endy, Kyle Harding, Gabbie Parini and manager Gabby Haberman. The Bulldogs will honor the seniors and their parents before the match.
Senior Day activities begin at 6:20.
Girls’ prep basketball
Butte Central at Belgrade, 6 p.m.
The Maroons (6-6) ride a three-game winning streak into the non-conference tilt at the Belgrade Special Events Center.
Belgrade (7-5) topped the maroons 48-41 when the teams met Dec. 18 at the Maroon Activities Center. Gabby Weber scored 11 points to lead the Panthers in that win. McKenna Carlson added 10 points, while Bailey Christensen scored nine.
Junior Emma Keeley scored 14 points to lead the Maroons. Senior Tricia Joyce averages 11.8 points per game to lead BC, which has won five out of six. She scored 30 points in two road win wins. Keeley averages 8.2 points, while freshman Sofee Thatcher is scoring 8.1 points per game.
Butte High at CMR, 7:30 p.m.
The Bulldogs (7-2, 4-0) seek there seventh straight win when they head to Great Falls for the Eastern AA game. They also look for the regular-season sweep of the Rustlers (1-9, 0-4).
Butte High beat CMR 48-37 Jan. 5 in Butte. Ally Cleverly scored 14 points and Aspen Lovshin tossed in 12 to lead the Bulldogs in that win. Allie Olson’s 11 points paced the Rustlers Emily Funseth scored 10.
The first-place Bulldogs are coming off Saturday’s dramatic 48-46 win over previously unbeaten Billings West. An 18-foot jumper by Makenna Carpenter with 4 seconds left gave Butte High the victory. Lovshin scored 15 in the win. Clevery and Haley Herron each scored 13.
Boys’ prep basketball
Butte Central at Belgrade, 7:30 p.m.
The Maroons (12-0) put their perfect record on the line when they take on the Panthers in the nightcap at the Special Events Center.
BC beat Belgrade 65-41 Dec. 18 in Butte. Cade Holter scored 15 points to lead four Maroons in double figures in that win. Braden Harrington scored 12, while Dylan Sestrich tossed in 11, and Trevor Neumann tossed in 10.
Easton Page scored 19 points to pace the Panthers (2-10). He averages a team-leading 13.8 points per game. Tate Bowler adds 9.9 points per game.
Harrington averages 13.8 points per game for the Maroons. Holter averages 12.8.
