Dillon at Butte Central, 7 p.m.
The Maroons look to go 8-0 on the season and 5-0 in Southwestern A when the Beavers come to town. Butte Central swept all seven opponents in the regular season. That includes a three-set win in Dillon earlier this season. Fans are encouraged to wear pink for a Pink Out in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
CMR at Butte High, 7 p.m.
The Bulldogs (2-9, 1-5) will try to avenge a loss earlier in the season when the Rustlers come to the Richardson Gym for an Eastern AA match. Butte High hasn’t played since last Thursday’s three-set loss at Bozeman.
Prep cross country
Butte High and Butte Central at Helena 7 on 7, 12:30 p.m.
The Maroons and Bulldogs will go against the best competition in the state Thursday. The meet features a race of No. 1 runners vs. No. 1 runners, No. 2s vs. No. 2s, etc. Butte High and Butte Central’s runners are coming off a strong showing at Saturday’s Butte Invitational.
Montana Tech at MSU-B Fall Classic
The Orediggers will close out the 2015 portion of their schedule at the two-day tournament at the Pryor Creek Golf Club. Tech’s men are coming off last week’s second-place showing at the Carroll College Invitational. The Orediggers set a school record twice with rounds of 290 and 289 on the Green Meadow Country Club. True freshman Sean Benson led Tech, placing sixth. Sean Ryan, Lee Paulson, Cole Noctor and David Starcevich also played for the Orediggers. Taryn Campbell, Hailey Ogolin, Ashten McCloskey and Kelly Harbach will play for the Tech women.
