Dillon at Butte Central, 4 p.m.

The Maroons open Southwestern A play when they play Dillon at Stodden Park. The Maroons are coming off Saturday’s 9-5 win over Livingston. Pitcher Teresa Piazzola, Rylee Green and Shelby Paffhausen homered to power the Maroons to that non-conference win. Dillon is playing its first varsity season. The Beavers are coming off Saturday’s 14-13 win over Corvallis. Lauran Holtan’s smacked three hits in that win.

Butte High at Belgrade, 4 p.m.
The Bulldogs are back on the road for another non-conference game when they take on the Class A Panthers. Butte High is coming off a 2-1 eight-inning loss at Missoula Big Sky. Senior pitcher Jessica Robertson struck out 11 batters in the loss. Amanda Spear doubled in Butte High’s lone run in that game. The game is the season-opener for Belgrade

Prep tennis
Corvallis at Butte Central, 1 p.m.

The Maroons are home for the Southwestern A matches against the Blue Devils at Father Sheehan Park. BC’s boys are coming off two straight wins. The Maroons knocked off Hamilton and Dillon last week. BC’s girls, fielding a full team, have also started the season in promising fashion.

Butte High at Five B’s in Bozeman, 9 a.m.
The Bulldogs will look to build on Saturday’s season-opening sweep of Missoula Big Sky when they hit the road for the tournament that features all three Billings Class AA schools. Butte High’s boys topped Big Sky 5-3. The girls rolled to a 7-1 win.
