Chase Wesen scored two goals and added an assist to lead Montana, which is 3-0 and will play the Columbia Cyclones from South Dakota in Sunday’s semifinals.
Hazen McKay added a goal and an assist for the Thunderblades, whose roster includes Butte players Ethan Cooney and Kody Chamberlin. The Montana boys, who are the defending champions, went 3-0 in pool play.
South Dakota will take on Northern Kentucky in the other semifinal. The championship game is set for Monday.
