Three Griz players suspended for Weber State game

MISSOULA – The University of Montana’s head football coach Mick Delaney announced today that redshirt freshman linebacker Nick Holt, junior linebacker John Kanongata’a, and junior offensive lineman Kjelby Oiland have been suspended for one game.

The suspension comes for violation of team rules and the three will not travel to Ogden, Utah, for this Saturday’s Big Sky Conference game at Weber State.

“It is an unfortunate situation, but expectations are clear,” Delaney said. “I will not go in to particulars about why the three were suspended, but I can say it does not involve law enforcement. I feel it is my responsibility to hold players accountable.”
