Thirty-five Maroons named Academic All-State

Butte Central released its Academic All-State honorees for the fall sports season this morning, and 35 Maroons made the grade.

The awards are given to high school athletes and cheerleaders who earn a varsity letter in a Montana High School Association sanctioned sport and obtain a 3.5 or better GPA.

Of the honorees, 19 came from the BC football team. The volleyball team placed 10 on the list along with five golfers and one cross country runner.

Fourteen of the athletes earned a 4.0 GPA. All the BC honorees follow:
