Montana Tech junior Taylor England was selected the Frontier Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season, the school announced today.

England, a 6-7 forward from Helena, averaged 21.0 points and 10.5 rebounds, and 3 steals per game in a pair of Oredigger victories over Rocky Mountain College and Montana Western this past weekend. England’s two double-doubles were his sixth and seventh of the season.

England shot an impressive 61 percent (16-for-26) from the field and 90.9 percent (10-for-11) from the free throw line in the two wins. Montana Tech’s margin of victory in their 81-53 win over Rocky was the largest Frontier Conference win in the program in at least 16 years.  England has scored 20-plus points in each of Montana Tech’s last four games.

The Orediggers are on the road this weekend taking on University of Providence in Great Falls on Friday and MSU-Northern in Havre on Saturday.
