Montana Tech senior volleyball player Lacey Phelan was named a 2012 Daktronics-NAIA Volleyball Scholar Athlete.
In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify.
Phelan is a 5-foot-11 outside hitter from Missoula. She was honored along with teammates Kirstin King and Jesse Bowden. Another teammate was incorrectly identified as receiving Phelan’s honor in a press release last Friday.
