KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Montana Tech golfers Kiley McConnell, Alec Shull and Sean Ryan received 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete Awards, the NAIA announced today.
In order to be nominated by an institution’s head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
McConnell, from Whitefish and Shull, from Missoula, just concluded their careers at Montana Tech. Ryan, from Great Falls, begins his senior year this fall.
Frontier Conference golf gets under way at the Rocky Mountain College Invitational at Peter Yegen Golf Course in Billings on September 13-14.
