Tech’s Krumm earns Frontier weekly honor

WHITEFISH — Korey Krumm of Montana Tech was named the Frontier Conference Volleyball Player of the Week on Monday.

Krumm,a 5-foot-9 middle blocker from Anaconda, led Montana Tech to a pair of road conference wins over the weekend. The Orediggers swept Montana Western in Dillon Thursday and beat Westminster College in five games Saturday in Salt Lake City.

For the weekend, Krumm averaged 3.13 kills with a hitting percentage of .386. She had seven digs, two solo blocks and seven assisted blocks.

Also nominated: Alexis Aalona of Westminster College, Elli Graff of Carroll College, Breanne Kelley of Montana Western, Joni Nagy of Montana State- Northern, Krystal Robinson of the University of Great Falls Niurka Toribio of Lewis-Clark State and Yang Yang of Rocky Mountain College.
