WHITEFISH — The Frontier Conference announced today that Montana Tech’s McKenna Kaelber is the Frontier Setter of the Week.
The award is the third for Kaelber this season.
Kaelber, a 5-foot-11 setter from Pasco, Washington, led the Oredigger to a pair of decisive victories last week. The No. 18 Orediggers defeated No. 16 University of Providence Argos 3-1 on their home court before sweeping Montana State Northern on Saturday. The Orediggers are 2-0 in early Frontier Conference action.
Kaelber averaged 10 assists per set and 2.14 digs. She finished the Argo match with 40 assists and had 30 against the Skylights. Kaelber leads the Frontier in total assists (513) and assists per set (9.3).
Montana Tech travels to Montana Western Thursday and is in Billings Saturday to face Rocky Mountain College.
