WHITEFISH— Montana Tech’s Jenna Jordan was named the Frontier Conference Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, Tech announced today.
The honor comes after Jordan , a freshman from Corvallis, won the javelin at a meet hosted by the University of Providence Thursday in Great Falls. She topped a field of 11 with a toss of 41.63 meters.
That toss made the A-Standard for the NAIA, qualifying Jordan for the NAIA National Championships.
The Oredigger teams travel to Spokane this week for the Whitworth Twilight Meet.
