Tech’s Greger is POW again

Adam Greger is racking up the honors.

The 6-foot-7 Montana Tech sophomore was named the Frontier Conference Player of the Week today. That makes it twice this season that the Florence star has received that honor.

Greger scored 19 points and grabbed six rebounds Sunday to lead Montana Tech to a 64-57 win over the University of Mobile (Ala.) at the HPER Complex.

Greger shot 8 for 16 from the field, including a 2-for-5 effort from 3-point land, to lead the Orediggers to the win. He was named Player of the Week on Nov. 26 after a solid weekend at the Westminster Thanksgiving Classic.


Cydney Tibbitts of Westminster College was named the Frontier Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Tibbitts is a 6-foot-1 senior forward from Pasco, Wash. The No. 5 Griffins beat No. 14 Rogers State on the road 68-65. In the victory, Tibbitts scored 25 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Tibbitts was 8 of 16 from the field, she made shot 4 of 9 from 3-point land.
