Tech’s Cline is top VB player

Montana Tech senior Shersteen Cline was named the Frontier Conference Volleyball Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Cline, a 5-foot-11 outside hitter from Big Sandy, led the Orediggers to wins over the University of Great Falls and Carroll College over the weekend.

Cline averaged nearly five kills per set with a hitting percentage of .260.

Also nominated for the award were Anna Dewald of Rocky Mountain, Elli Graff of Carroll College, Paige Latimer of Montana Western, Ashley Marchant of Westminster College, Abby Nicholas of MSU-Northern, Jenna Prescott of the University of Great Falls and Niurka Toribio of Lewis-Clark State.
