KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2017-18 Men’s Basketball All-American Teams today. Montana Tech’s Chris O’Neill was named honorable mention All-American.
The senior point guard is a two-time All-Conference selection. O’Neill finished the season averaging 12.8 points a game while averaging 44.9 percent from the field and a league-leading 91.2 shooting percentage from the free throw line. The senior captain averaged 3.6 assists and 3.2 rebounds a game.
Carroll College senior Ryan Imhoff was named NAIA Player of the Year after averaging 19.8 points and 7.2 rebounds for the Saints.
Montana Western senior Dom Robinson was named a first-team All-American. The guard was on the second team last year.
Robinson led the Bulldogs with 17.6 points per game. He led the Frontier Conference with 5.3 assists.
Western sophomore Zaccheus Darko-Kelly earned a spot on the second team after averaging 15.4 ponts per game.
Carroll’s Match Burnham and Western’s Brandon Jones joined O’Neill on the honorable mention list.
