BILLINGS — With four players in double figures, the Montana Tech women’s basketball team jumped back in the win column with a 66-56 win over Rocky Mountain College Friday night.
Mandy Machinal scored 17 points to lead the way as the Orediggers improved to 10-7 overall and 3-2 in Frontier Conference play. Dannii Devenny scored 15 points, while Brooke Pokorny scored 11 and Kelsey DeWit scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
The Orediggers outscored Rocky 47-31 in the second half to overcome a six-point halftime deficit. The win stopped a two-game slide for the Tech women.
Brittany Myers scored 13 points to lead the Battlin’ Bears, who fell to 5-9 and 2-2. Former Butte High Bulldog Kalli McCloskey scored nine points.
The Orediggers are back on the road next week when they play games at MSU-Northern and the University of Great Falls.
