DILLON — With three players in double figures, the Montana Tech women’s basketball team knocked off the College of Idaho 77-72 Friday afternoon at the Straugh Gymnasium. (Stats)
The game was played at a neutral site because the HPER Complex is hosting the Frontier Conference volleyball tournament.
Freshman Dani Urick scored 17 points, while Kaylee Zard and Shay Potter each scored 16 points to lead the Orediggers in the win. Zard also pulled down 13 rebounds.
In all, 10 Orediggers scored points in the win. Mesa Williams scored eight points. Lana Berg added seven, Hailey Crawford scored six, Mollie Peoples, Chelestina Faletio and Megan Delaney each scored two, and Sharlei Graham-Bernisto tossed in one.
Kaylee Krusemark scored 18 points to lead four Yotes in double figures. Alyssa Case scored 13, Mackenzie Rocye tossed in two, and Emily Harwood netted 10.
The Orediggers (5-1) are back in action next Friday and Saturday when they play Whitworth University and Whitman College in Spokane.
