Tech women sign Capital’s Tjaden Pallister

Montana Tech Head Women’s Basketball Coach Carly VanDyke-Sanon announced the signing of Helena Capital’s Tjaden Pallister today.

“I’ve decided to continue my education and basketball career at Montana Tech because I’ve found it to be the best fit for me,” Pallister said.

The prep standout helped lead the Bruins to a state championship last season and was voted to the All-Tournament team. She was selected first team All-Conference and All-State last year.

“I am excited Tjaden is going to be an Oredigger,” VanDyke-Sanon said. “Her athleticism will allow her to play inside and out. She is a hard worker and a tenacious defender.”

This year she is averaging 12 points and five rebounds while shooting 39.8 percent from the field.

“The comfortable environment of the school is what I like most about Tech,” Pallister said. “I’m looking forward to spending my next four years with family and friends who are a great support team. I also really like Coach VanDyke-Sanon and am very excited to capitalize on the opportunity she and the Tech program are giving me.”
