KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released Women’s Cross Country Postseason Coaches Top 25 Poll today. The postseason poll is determined by the final team finish at the national championship.
Montana Tech is No. 11 in the postseason poll. The Orediggers were ranked No. 21 prior to the NAIA Cross Country Championship in Vancouver, Washington on Nov. 19.
Tech was unranked to start the 2021 season and entered the Top 25 Poll for the first time in program history at No. 19 in the second poll of the season. The Orediggers are in just their second season. The highest ranking the Orediggers achieved before the postseason poll was No. 16.
Carroll College was the only other Frontier Conference school in the NAIA Coaches Top 25. The Saints are ranked No. 16.
