Montana Tech fans will have to wait a little longer to see their teams play their first home basketball games of 2022.

The Oredigger doubleheader Saturday with Montana Western at the HPER Conference has been postponed because of “COVID issues,” Montana Western announced on Twitter.

The games will not be made up. Montana Tech will win both games by forfeit. Western’s men forfeited a game against Rocky Mountain College on Thursday.

Next up on the Tech schedules is Thursday’s home doubleheader with Rocky Mountain College. Western will is schedule to play Thursday at Carroll College.

The Oredigger men and women swept past MSU-Northern Thursday in Havre. Tech’s men and women have not played at home since Dec. 2.
