Tech spikers bounce back, sweep Warriors

Montana Tech’s volleyball team bounced back from Thursday’s loss at Rocky Mountain College in a big way Saturday afternoon.

The No. 23 Orediggers made short work of Lewis-Clark State College, sweeping the Warriors 25-17, 26-24, 25-21 at the HPER Complex. Stats

The win lifted the Orediggers to 13-6 overall and 1-1 in Frontier Conference play.

Sydney Norris tallied 11 kills, while Jordan Danz added 10 to lead the Oredigger attack. Bailie Cortner added eight kills, while Karina Mickelson spiked seven.

Danz also collected a team leading 13 digs. Makenzie Bauck dished up 37 assists, while Angie Pancost added 11 digs.

Treneisha Doyle spiked 12 kills to lead the Warriors.

The Orediggers are back in action Friday at MSU-Northern.
